The event will only be cancelled under rare circumstances of extremely high winds, above 30km at the display site, or extreme weather conditions where excess ground water prevents the fireworks display. The event will proceed if there is rain during the day before 4:30pm, and if light to moderate rain is forecasted for the duration of the event. Cancellations are made solely for the safety of the fireworks display.

​Decisions will be reached by 9am on the event day.

There is a weather postponement date of Saturday 18 October 2025.

In the unlikely event of unplanned severe weather after the event starts at 4:30pm.

• Although highly unlikely, the live Fireworks Display cancellation may occur if weather conditions change unpredictably, specifically extreme weather events occurring after 5pm and before 8pm. Such a cancellation would only occur if there was a health and safety risk for continuing the fireworks display.

• The organisers reserve the right to cancel the live fireworks display after the event has started due to safety concerns. In this case, pre-purchased ticket holders will receive a partial refund at the discretion of the event promoters, within 7-10 business days after the event (excluding ticketing and transaction fees). Partial refunds do not apply to any cash gate sales.

Tickets are purchased online through iTicket . Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event.

As well as the old time favourites like candy floss, hot chips and sausages, we have over 30 Food Trucks coming, so there will be something for everyone!

All ticket holders are required to have their tickets printed or ready to scan on their phones/devices at the event gates.

Raffle Tickets sales close on 7pm on the day of the event. Your tickets will be automatically added to our raffle drawn on the night of the event. Raffle winners will be drawn on the night of our event at 8pm and posted on our social media pages later that evening. Please support Taupaki School by purchasing Raffle Tickets!

The information on the rides will be available closer to the time of the event - our facilitators take weather conditions on the day as a factor for choosing the best rides. We ensure there is a range for both younger and older kids.

Ride prices range from $5-10, and are cash only. We do have an onsite ATM, but recommend you bring along some cash on the day.

We encourage ride sharing or walking to the venue. However, car parking will be available on-site for an additional $5 fee. Please note the $5 parking is not included in the ticket price (pay on the day entry to grounds). There are 25 mobility parks available which can be added to your online booking - Only book this if you require Mobility Parking and can display a mobility pass.

You're welcome to bring along your own food, but with over 30 food truck offerings we reckon there will be something for everyone. Take a night off cooking!
