ABOUT THE EVENT
The highly anticipated Monster Fireworks Display is back, ready to light up the Kumeu Showgrounds on Friday, October 17th, 2025. This annual event, presented by Taupaki School and powered by Bad Boy Fireworks, promises an evening filled with unforgettable sights and sounds.​
The Monster Fireworks Display is so much more than a night sky spectacular — it’s a full community celebration. Alongside the breathtaking pyrotechnics, enjoy thrilling fair rides, feast from 30+ food trucks, soak up live band and dance performances, and share in the laughter, spirit, and energy that make this event a West Auckland favourite. Bring your friends and family for a night that promises to dazzle, delight, and connect us all.​

Please note that ticket prices do not include event parking.
Parking will be available on-site for an additional $5 fee which can be paid on entry to grounds.

Due to high traffic we encourage ride sharing or walking to the venue.

Entertainment
Attendees can enjoy a wonderful selection of rides, stalls, live performances and food trucks while picnicking on the banks of the showgrounds.
The DJ will create a vibrant atmosphere as you await for the evening's main event — the breathtaking fireworks display — which commences after nightfall, around 8:30 PM.

Community Spirit
Every ticket sold contributes to a brighter future for the students at Taupaki School. This event serves as a crucial fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly to support educational initiatives. The 2025 Monster Fireworks Display will be fundraising for an Outdoor Classroom. Your participation means the world to us and helps foster a stronger community spirit.

Established in 1948, and now a third generation family owned and operated business based in West Auckland.
Bad Boy have been a long time supporter of this event, and without them - it wouldn't be possible.
